Once over the age of 35, should thyroid function screening take place routinely and if yes, and at what intervals?

In men once in 5 yrs and women once in 3 yrs.If risk factors & family history is present then once a year. If recently diagnosed and treatment started, once in 6 months till the thyroid profile report comes normal and the dose has been well adjusted.
